The 42- and 43-story iconic glass towers, among the tallest in downtown, draw inspiration from the surrounding neighborhoods’ intersection of city and lake-style living. The 539 homes maximize the spectacular views in every direction – from Seattle and Lake Washington to the mountains beyond. The social amenity suite includes a fitness center and spa, screening and reading rooms, a dining room and urban garden that encourage residents to share experiences with neighbors and guests. Throughout, sustainable development practices protect the health of our homeowners and the integrity of the environment and led to Bellevue Towers becoming the first major high-rise to obtain LEED Gold status.
An innovative glass tower with unprecedented river views, Atwater Place offers a collection of 214 unique homes featuring interiors finished to the highest standards. The South Waterfront’s third condominium project, Atwater Place, embodies luxury city living on the river. Realty Trust collaborated with Gerding Edlen Development, Williams & Dame Development, GBD Architects, and acclaimed Portland architect Thomas Hacker, to create this meticulously-designed glass tower. From ground-level retail up to the 23rd floor penthouses, the diverse homes offer floor-to-ceiling corner windows with stunning views of the Willamette River, the Cascades, and beyond. Ecologically-responsible strategies lessen the building’s environmental impact on the river ecosystem, while the streetcar, aerial tram, and pedestrian greenway connect residents to the water and to their city in healthy, earth-friendly ways.
The Casey is a boutique condominium tower in the heart of the Pearl District, integrated with multi-faceted Bullseye Glass that brings art to the entire neighborhood, defining the building as the jewel box of the Pearl. This intimate collection of 61 living spaces within a 16-story tower is the first quarter-block residential building in the district, yet the average size of the homes – over 2,100 square feet – offers genuine privacy and elegant comfort. Realty Trust joined Gerding Edlen Development and GBD Architects and took everything that made The Henry in the nearby Brewery Blocks such an extraordinary success and raised the bar in every dimension – including becoming the nation’s first residential tower sustainable enough to be certified LEED Platinum.
The Civic is 16 stories of urban condominiums, featuring 1 bedroom lofts, 2 bedroom and penthouse homes. Offering a pedestrian plaza and ground level retail, the building is also conveniently located near the MAX line and within walking distance of Northwest, the Pearl and Downtown. The Civic sits near the top of downtown West Burnside, the ideal spot for homeowners inspired by the activity of the city’s most energetic urban boulevard. The building comprises 16 stories of inviting glass and steel surrounding a courtyard perfect for block parties. The conscientious design team of SERA Architects used recycled and locally-sourced construction materials and landscaped with native, adaptive plants. Veteran interior designers, Graham Eberle Norman, were brought in to help create 261 awe-inspiring homes with rooms completely wired for technology.
The John Ross is a stunning 31-story elliptical tower located in Portland’s newest urban community, South Waterfront. Just blocks from the river, streetcar, and aerial tram, the John Ross features a large garden terrace, community BBQs, and an amenity space for private functions. The John Ross is the tallest residential tower in Portland’s skyline, offering the opportunity to live in a modern, environmentally-responsible icon. Realty Trust City joined forces with Gerding Edlen Development, Williams & Dame Development, GBD Architects, and nationally-recognized architect Robert Thompson to bring to life this 325-foot elliptical column of light and air. Each of the 303 sophisticated living units shares a curved glass wall that embraces views of park, river, city, and hills. Residents enjoy amenities including ground-floor retail, adjacent access to the Portland Streetcar, an urban plaza, a grand lobby, a resident lounge, and the 5th floor garden terrace.
The Meriwether Condominiums pioneered riverside city living and are the first residential buildings in Portland’s newest neighborhood: the River Blocks at South Waterfront. Realty Trust teamed with developers Gerding Edlen and Williams & Dame, GBD Architects and Busby Architects to construct Portland’s first point-towers, inspired by Vancouver, B.C. architecture – located directly on the bank of the Willamette River. The 21- and 24-story towers open up to expansive views of Mt. Hood and Ross Island, connecting homeowners to nature. The 245 finely-finished units are painstakingly designed to perform efficiently and complement buyers’ individual styles. Residents enjoy access to urban parks, retail shops and the new OHSU Center for Health and Healing along the Willamette River Greenway, while the aerial tram and streetcar make exploring the city easy, comfortable and convenient.
Cyan is a progressive and thoughtful living concept built with green technologies and building innovations that minimize impact on our blue planet. Realty Trust partnered again with Gerding Edlen Development and GBD Architects and applied the best of what they had learned on other projects and by looking around the world to create a completely new product for Portland. The building’s thoughtful, purposeful design was researched internationally. 3720 joins the John Ross, The Meriwether, and Atwater Place along the Willamette River. Just blocks from OHSU’s march wellness center and the new aerial tram, and only a brief streetcar ride from Portland’s city center, 3720 represents the next phase in Portland’s green evolution, a model of sustainable architecture at its best. Developed by Gerding Edlen Development and Williams and Dame Development, and designed by GBD Architects, 3720 stands at the heart of one of Portland’s most dynamic communities.
The Beverly, centrally located in the core inner Eastside neighborhood of Hollywood, enjoys many unique features that distinguish it in the marketplace. With public transportation such as bus and light rail in close proximity as well as parks and other amenities, this niche project consists of 53 condominium homes in a mixed use building with Whole Foods and other retail on the ground level. The high-quality, classic brick and wood architecture complements the rest of the neighborhood and the development is the first in the area in quite some time. Situated on the fourth floor is a gorgeous private resident courtyard with the intimate array of homes enjoying stunning views unlike any other in the immediate vicinity.
When renovating The Brewery Blocks at the entrance to Portland’s Pearl District, an area known for soft lofts and converted apartments, Realty Trust City and Gerding Edlen Development saw an opportunity to provide the district’s first true condominium homes with conventional floor plans. And to follow through on the Brewery Blocks’ promise of a well-planned mixed-use community, the marketing campaign focused on small events and relationship building instead of traditional advertising or street signage. Enthusiastic buyers, impressed with the sales process and the sophisticated homes, referred new buyers to the project until The Henry’s 123 luxury condominiums sold out within 31 weeks. Additionally, Realty Trust’s collaboration with Gerding Edlen Development and GBD Architects and their shared focus on environmental stewardship, led The Henry to become one of the first buildings in the country to earn the coveted LEED Gold certification.
